It includes technology competitions in 15 different categories, such as flying cars, autonomous vehicles, rockets, unmanned underwater systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles, open to middle school, high school, and university students.
Applications for the competitions, which offer over 2 million TL in prizes along with technical consultancy and material support, are open until February 28, 2019, at teknofestistanbul.org. TEKNOFEST also accepts applications from international teams. Last year, the festival attracted participants from 83 countries, making it a significant aviation and technology event in the region.
